Greetings. My name is Rafael Trintinalia, but sometimes you'll hear people calling me by my oldest nickname, "Rolito".

Talking about my personal life, I'm a musician in my spare time, I have a dog called "Yoda" (yes, I'm a geek and love Star Wars) and I'm married to a wonderful person called Carolina. She was relocated by her company and we've just moved to Miami.

Although I have a degree in Advertising, since college I've been working with internet and I began, as many other designers, as a victim of the late (Macromedia) Adobe Flash. That was the point of no return. With some limitations to make things happen and being very curious, I've studied about algorithms, HTML, backend development and, finally, front-end development using web standards (at the time, SEO was THE thing).

Almost organically, my journey took me to the term "user experience" and I've got amazed. Don Norman, Jakob Nielsen, Jesse James Garrett and many others became names of my daily searches on Google and, job by job, I've tried to use some techniques and improve my process, bring better results to the projects and, of course, advocating for someone who's been neglected for so long: the user!

I've had experience working with several companies with different sizes from many markets, sometimes as an entrepreneur, others as an employee. I believe this heterogeneity allows me to have a flexible mindset, helping me to transit effectively throughout the company and its clients.
